In a tragic incident in Saroornagar PS limits, a person shot the father of his alleged lover with an Airgun. The victim suffered with an injury to his eyes. A case is yet to be registered.
According to the police, “The accused had some grudges towards the victim. The accused tried to fire at the victim with an Airgun in close proximity. Usually, Airgun shouldn’t cause any injury but unfortunately the victim got hit by the pellet in his eye causing an eye injury. There is no major problem. They are giving a complaint now. The case will be registered now. The accused is identified as Balwinder Singh of age 32 years. The accused and the victim’s daughter might have been in relationship earlier. However, the girl has been married off to the US. The accused who is angry with this, tried to attack the girl’s father today.”
