Modi government discriminates against southern states: Telangana CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has accused Telangana CM Revanth Reddy of showing discrimination against Telangana by making allocations to AP in the budget. We don’t ask why it was given to AP…why not to Telangana? We are only asking that. They said that they have repeatedly asked Prime Minister Modi to play a bigger role… but he has done injustice to Telangana. He also appealed to the Union Ministers. He said that the word Telangana has been banned in the budget. They want to tell why the same funds were given to the Palamuru project as they were given to Polavaram.

The chairman of the NDA Sarkari claimed that the budget was Bachao. Special allocations have been made for AP and Bihar states. But they were angry that Telangana was not given. This will not bring respect to Modi. He reminded that BJP got 8 Lok Sabha seats and 35 percent votes from the people of Telangana. It is because of the decision of the people of Telangana that Modi is sitting on the Prime Minister’s chair. He said that this is the time for BJP to show gratitude to the people of Telangana.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy was blamed for the injustice in the budget for Telangana. Kishan Reddy demanded immediate resignation from his post. They demanded to fulfill the promises made to Telangana at least in the revised budget. They want to think of themselves as citizens of Telangana and not as slaves and make allocations. They criticized that they wanted to be in harmony with the Centre, but the Center was not thinking like that. He said that the Center should think about the citizens of Telangana.
He demanded to know why IIM did not give him. Telangana does not depend on anyone’s benevolence. Is the redistribution law just for AP? Not applicable to Telangana? He deposed that. He said injustice was done to the southern states in the central budget. He said he will talk to the Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He said that he will also talk to Kerala CM. He said that he will fight against the discrimination against southern states. They will move forward with those who come with them.
KCR suggested that the center should stand against the injustice done to Telangana in the budget. He wants to come to the House tomorrow and question the Centre. If he does not come to the meeting tomorrow, it is like KCR has a dark deal with Kishan Reddy. He criticized the Center for not wanting to utter the word Telangana. He said that the Center has been discriminating against Telangana since the beginning. Is Telangana not responsible for giving funds? He asked.
He said that he has been to Delhi many times… and met Prime Minister Modi directly three times. He said that he requested to allocate funds to Telangana without discrimination. But the word Telangana was not even mentioned in the budget. We thought that the Center would discriminate against Telangana… but it was accused of acting in a factional way. However, Modi blamed the process of formation of Telangana.
He expressed anger that when he asked for funds for the Musi River project, he was not given a rupee. He said there is no funding for Metro… No mention of ITIR Corridor… Budget is just quid pro quo. He alleged that they are trying to protect the chair by giving handouts to AP and Bihar. This is not the right method for Modi. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay should be held responsible for the injustice done to Telangana.
